She was walking past with her sexy siren gait, her redolent attire made every man drop their jaws and drool. She was the cynosures of all masculine eyes. This is the image the society shows for a female who has undergone rape. They try their efforts best to prove the victim guilty by portraying this image that it was she herself who invited this uneventful incident.
The recent Kathua case sent a chill to our bones. Her old torn cloths, her unkempt hair and scrawny face would make any lucid mind feel sympathetic towards her. She didn’t know what Hinduism is all about and she had no clue about what islam is. She was even ignorant about cleavage and enflaming. Then what brought her the brutal death. What brought her the pain and misery.
At the age of eight years she was kidnapped and was held incarcerated and was starved for four days. This all happened in the premise of a place which is considered to be pure sin free- the temple. A place where God resides. And irony was one amongst the many men who tortured her to death was the one who served God- son of the priest-the holy man.
Her dithering clothes were further scuffed she was violated by so many devils. She succumbed to the torture and breathed her last.
That all was the story. We now have the parents left with fear and tears for the rest of their lives. I could not find any feminist nor any activist pose up a rally against this evil happening. An introspecting mind is still pondering as to what or which such incidence qualifies a stir in the media. Provoke the activists to get a petition signed.
Years after the dreadful gang rape case in Delhi and a long trials of whether those four accused were really guilty we came up with fast track courts. After that chains of dreadful Gang rapes of children below 12 13 years of age, not just that 55 years old raped and repeat telecast of Nirbhaya case with her.
Does these incidences display that women evoke sex drive amongst men and then get raped or is it just the mental bug that drives such cases. A two year, old a six month old who can hardly walk get violated. Does diapers also provoke sexual urge.
Neither politically guided candle march or few Facebook accounts signing a petition nor keeping the women fully covered can stop such incidences. We have to emerge as a country as no nonsense with respect to rape accused. Hanging in public or putting in the same pain as the victim as its done in some countries may set in that fear in the minds of those mentally sick drolly men who cant even spare a toddler to satisfy their undesirable urges.
